Model Portfolios
The purpose of CoolStockPicks model portfolios is to provide you with access to a wide range of investment approaches. Some approaches follow the methods of well-know professionals, and are based on their "style of investing," while other approaches implement time-tested techniques used to identify attractive stocks.
These approaches run the full spectrum, from those that are value-based to those that focus primarily on growth. Some approaches are geared toward large-company stocks, while others uncover micro-sized firms.
We have created ten model stock portfolios each consisting of nine to fifeteen screened stocks in a particular category. There are six portfolios mimicking stock picking style of well known stock gurus and strategies and four portfolios based on Cool Stock Picks own interpretation of known stock picking strategies. The portfolios are designed to guide you in finding investment ideas based on proven stock picking strategies.
All portfolios are created at the beginning of the year – buy and hold. The stock is dropped from portfolio and new is added when the stock price falls below 10%. Returns figures include dividends and do not include transactions costs. Portfolios are updated daily.
